About the Researcher in Residence programme
The Researcher in Residence (RiR) scheme is funded by the Innovation Launchpad Network (ILN+), an initiative supported by EPSRC (Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council) and Catapult. The scheme is ideal for exploring strategically interesting topics in the academic space and deepening partnerships with universities.
The Researcher in Residence (RiR) scheme funds a university researcher for 6 months over a 2-year period to work on a project alongside a Catapult Centre. Typical partners are junior academics willing to further their research career, and open to accepting real industrial challenges.
