The NCC was pleased to attend the launch of the High Value Manufacturing Catapult (HVM Catapult) annual review at the Houses of Parliament. NCC Chief Operating Officer Andrew Hopcraft, Chris Young Automotive & Core Research Programme TPM and Ashley Parkinson Manufacturing Technician met with a broad range of parliamentarians from across the political spectrum. Lord Prior provided a stimulating keynote speech on about the importance of the catapults centres and manufacturing in the UK general. The seven HVM Catapult centres showcased exhibits including NCC member Dymag's carbon composites wheel and a bespoke prototype Sitski trialled by UK para-Olympians.
