Marcus Walls-Bruck, Chief Technologist for Hydrogen moderates a panel with industry experts on “Composites for Hydrogen Transportation & Distribution”. The session discusses the projected surge in carbon fibre usage, and new methods for developing and manufacturing storage vessels and pipelines with a focus on sustainability through their lifecycle.

Kaloyana Kostova, Engineering Capability Lead for Structural Engineering and Ben Clark, Advanced Technology Project Lead for Aerospace & Energy will lead a D-STANDART Training Workshop focused on “Designing Sustainable Composites and Unlocking Their Potential.” The session focuses on incorporating life cycle thinking and sustainability in design processes for composite structures. While free, the session requires pre-registration.

Jonathan Taylor, Senior Chief Engineer presents “D-STANDART - Designing Sustainable Composites: How to Get There and Why it Matters”. This talk discusses possible approaches to effectively balancing durability with sustainability and cost in design.
