Alex Hale, Technology Programme Manager, Adoption & Incubation Services at the National Composites Centre will be presenting at Building Careers and Skills in Science and Technology for National and Global Challenges. Taking place 8th November 2024, at The Exchange - University of Birmingham, Alex will be participating in the 2.20pm panel session 'Open Collaboration in a Volatile World'.

This event is open to all but designed for early- to mid-career professionals whose roles in some way involve science, technology, innovation and research, and drawn from the civil and public sectors; from industry; and from the wider research community. During the course of the day there will be plenary sessions, breakout discussions and networking opportunities.

There are five break out sessions, themed around the five missions of the new government (Growth; Clean Energy Superpower; NHS fit for the future; Crime and Justice; Break down barriers to opportunity).
