NCC to co-sponsor Global Automotive Lightweight Materials (GALM)
The NCC is pleased to be co-sponsoring this year’s Global Automotive Lightweight Materials (GALM) 3-day exhibition taking place at Birmingham’s NEC on the 25th-27th April.
The GALM series of conferences are the world's leading conferences on automotive lightweighting and aim to provide practical solutions on strategic, tactical and technical challenges facing the automotive industry.
The 3-day summit will focus on the thorough investigation of material selection strategies, multi material architectures, the use of composites and thermoplastics, glass fibre component weight reduction, innovative joining methods and many more.
All participants will benefit from understanding the level of investment required for new materials and technologies and how to adapt the existing infrastructure to accommodate them without having to build new factories.
Over the course of the 3-day exhibition, there will be keynote presentations and Question and Answer sessions from leading commercial and industry organisations. Paul Gallen, NCC Market Development Manager for the automotive sector, will be presenting on Affordable and Automated – the Future of Composites Manufacturing.
