The call for ACCIS CDT extended research project proposals is open

The University of Bristol’s EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Advanced Composites for Innovation and Science (ACCIS CDT) would like to invite colleagues across Universities and the industry sector to submit project proposals that will be undertaken in collaboration with the CDT (Centre for Doctoral Training).

The eighth cohort of 16 Ph.D. students will each be selecting a six-month research project in May 2017 as part of the taught element of the programme. Selected projects will start on Monday 5 June 2017 and will be completed by the end of December 2017. The students will be based in Bristol and all project funding will be provided by the ACCIS CDT. Details of previous projects can be found on the CDT website.

This provides an ideal opportunity to facilitate collaboration between ACCIS, industry and other Universities. There is the potential for extended research projects to roll forward to a PhD, which would potentially be collaborative in nature.

Deadline for submission:Friday 21st April 2017 by email to sarah.hallworth@bristol.ac.uk.

Further details can be found here.
