If you have a minimum of 6 delegates and the current planned schedule does not meet your business needs we may be able to set up another course date for you.

Course Overview

This course includes a DoE exercise involving a simulation where delegates design their own experiments using Minitab software, decide on their own parameter settings and actively seek to optimise the process. This exercise is designed to be as 'real life' as possible with delegates even having to work within resource constraints i.e. they are given a budget and there is a cost for each experiment they carry out. This ensures delegates carefully consider the approach they take to the experimentation.

Delivery Style
Classroom based

Who should attend?
All R&D personnel, design and development engineers and scientist, process engineers.

Course Objectives
To understand and address the complex problems that pose major challenges to quality improvement and bottom-line savings. DOE can help you determine which process changes are most likely to yield the greatest gains.

Course Duration
1 Day

Course Content:
What is ‘DOE’?

  • Plackett-Burman Designs
  • Factorial Designs
  • Fractional Factorial Designs
  • Response Surface Designs
  • Central Composite Designs
  • DOE using Minitab
