Event Booking Form

Health and Safety

It is a mandatory requirement for a health & safety / fire briefing to be read out at the beginning of your event.

If there is a member of NCC staff attending your event, they will be asked to read out the briefing. If there is no member of NCC staff attending your event, we will organise for somebody to read out the briefing.

Please advise us in advance if you suffer from asthma, use a pacemaker, or are sensitive to flashing lights, so that we can ensure that activities during your visit do not cause you any risk.

Workshop Tours

We advise that you send this information to any workshop tour attendees.

At the beginning of a workshop tour, safety rules will be brought to the attention of all delegates which we ask you to follow for your own safety.

To take part in a workshop tour you are advised to either wear or bring suitable footwear with you. Suitable footwear is sturdy and enclosed shoes, not sandals, pumps or high heels.

The number of people able to go on a workshop tour at the same time is limited as each guide can only take a maximum of 10 delegates at a time.

The High Value Manufacturing Catapult (HVM Catapult) brings together a network of seven specialist innovation centres, including the National Composites Centre. Innovate UK provides core funding to the HVM Catapult, enabling long-term investment in infrastructure, expertise and skills development across the seven centres. From time to time, Innovate UK conduct evaluations to assess the impact and value for money of the HVM Catapult.

Part of the Innovate UK evaluation will be to engage with firms which have been supported by the National Composites Centre. This will involve a brief survey, probably by telephone, which will ask questions about the support your business has received and the effects of this support.
